Academic project at Universidade da Beira Interior, Portugal
Work Product design
Year 2021

Drawing from my grandparents' practice of covering plates to keep food warm and bug free, this ceramic set provides a modern interpretation of that thoughtful act.

This black colored clay pieces pay homage to tradition and embrace the rich cultural roots of my region while it tells my personal history by the possible stacking of the pieces.
Emerge in the unique aesthetic of the set and let yourself drive deep in the gastronomic experience that this material brings benefit to.

Whether you choose to stack the pieces to create a compact, space-saving display or spread them out for a more open and inviting presentation, the choice is yours. Doppio doubles the possibility of stacking offering a delightful combination of functionality and aesthetics, making it an ideal addition to any modern home, where design and tradition converge seamlessly.
